I would stay away from any octane boosters other than Torco Mach Accelerator. Most octane boosters coat plugs, clog injectors, kill cats and most of the time do more harm than good.
If you ever do get a lower octane fuel in the tank than your currently loaded tune, it's not the end of the world. If you drive around normal and don't go more than 1/2 throttle, you'll be fine. Do I recommend making a habit of this? No. If you have a lower octane tune to load in to get you through the crappy fuel, do it. If you don't, I'm just saying you'll be fine to drive around conservatively to burn through it at low throttle.
I would also recommend still being pretty easy on it, even when you do get a full tank of premium fuel back in it. You really want to run 1 full tank of premium fuel and fill back up with premium again before you get on it.
Hope this helps!

Call SCT and they will send you the instructions and updated software to fix it. It's not broken they will just have you do a complete re-boot of the tuner. That happened to me awhile ago and SCT fixed me up.

Yeah, call SCT and they'll walk you through getting it recovered. Should be a 10 minute process. Sorry about the trouble.
Let us know how the tune works out for you. Won't be nearly as fun as the premium fuel tunes, LOL!
