Is it normal that clutch pedal is hard to push in?
I am new to 5th gen mustangs. Tried 4th gen, the clutch pedal feels normal.
Today I tried two mustangs, both are 05, and both have very stiff clutch pedal. I need to push it very hard to push it in. (I drive a civic si, compared with the mustang, you can not feel any pressure when pushing the clutch pedal)
I know that civic si use hydraulic cylinders in clutch. googled and found that mustang uses clutch cable? is that why it is harder to push in?
Is it normal on mustangs, or the stiff pedal indicates there's something need to be done?
Going to buy the 05 V6 Mustang tomorrow, hope I can get some advice.
Thanks a lot!

This is a very good bargain I think. 1st owner, price is below 5800. very clean inside and out. (a mid age mid class white man,). everything stock. I drive it and it feels tight and good. only con is its high mileage. 140k+. but mostly highway, and also that's why i can get it at such a price.
for a GT i may need to prepare about 10k...

I know the V6 I drove was very stiff, my leg was tired after the first day. Then getting back in my 67 I pretty much kicked the clutch pedal I was so used to the S197 clutch. My 67 doesn't take much pressure.
