Yea I know but it's still a depressing thing knowing that it's not perfect and if they order a new bumpe it will never be as tight as originally from the factory, I just want to kno how these dealerships have the audacity to make a promise and break it with a bs excuse about legality terms. Should have stated that prior to the preceding arrangement that we made.

Same here. If I do any negotiating with any dealership I always have them put any promises in writing. When I got mine I told them specifically no license plate bracket on the front. I took delivery and there was no plate but there are 2 very small pin holes on the front that you cant see until you are within inches of it. It actually looks like it came from the factory that way. The holes are perfect round and even. And also it was a requirement that they put their dealership badge on the back even though it was a dealer trade. Im like wtf? They would not remove it themselves either. Bs...

Again...I would tell them to F%$@ off, lol. I worked at what I feel is a shady dealership before and let me tell you this. I loved selling cars, dealing with customers, getting to know them and helping them out. I hated dealing with my manager and coworkers when I sold cars (I worked at a Ford dealership too). Car salesman (at least at any dealership I've dealt with) are the shadiest POS's in the world! Especially the managers! They are so full of $hit it's ridiculous. Don't buy into their BS and always get it in writing.

I feel very lucky. I just naturally assume if it's already been to the lot, and unloaded from the truck before I was present, it's been drilled into .. this time around they just handed me a bracket and said if you want to drill it in .. it's your choice!

I'll wait for a fix it warning/ticket and see how that goes .. lol : )
