I would vote for the 2010 gt its newer, nicer in my opinion and its always nice to drive a newer car. or what what others said look for a corvette, I saw a 2006 ZO6 with 23,000 miles for $19,995.

At a dealership like 20 miles from me, it was sold after like 2 days though. I would show you the online post but it was taken down.

The '10 body style looks good, but you can get better deals on 1st gen s197s.
Then the freaking terminator ITS A TERMI!
Bad ***. The price seems a little high though and the interior of the '99-'04s leave a little to be desired.
THE TERMI! they are indestructible!

yeah, whatever.

you may find a 05 c6 w 100.000mls for around 20k, an 06 z06 will be around 40k anywhere.

Dont believe me if you want to but I know what I saw, now I didn't look at the car in person but it looked to be legit. I have seen deals similar to that as well not ZO6's but I have seen several 06-09 base corvettes go for around $22,000 with low miles. This was a really rare case but probably not unheard of.

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=3 here is an example, not a ZO6 but a good deal none the less.

A bit late here... but i'd definitely go for the 2005 s/c, but only if it were a couple grand lower. I got my garaged 2007 GT with a paxton 2200SL, rims, short throw, cowl hood, for $14k, but it did have 80k miles on it, so that helped out a lot. But being 4 years old it has to be highway miles.

Sad to hear about the GTO.. love those cars. All of my friends say "they're so ugly" but for some reason I like the styling. Maybe its because I know it has a corvette motor inside. I test drove a couple 2004's, one had intake and exhaust... those things have very nice torque. Never got to test drive an LS2.... i'm sure that's a BEAST with 400hp 400tq.

That being said, after driven what i've driven, I couldn't go for a stock 4.6L. The GTO definitely felt faster even though it is a bit heavier. But the 2010 GT with intake, cam, tune, exhaust... would scoot nicely, and look great

Be patient.. dont rush. I see that you listed the 03 cobra for $26k, you can find a 2011 5.0 for that much. Gobs of power and almost brand new

Fancy that, I have been plagued with nothing but problems with my 06 GT. It has made me want to never buy a Ford again, and I won't! However, it's paid off and I can't justify the money I've spent towards it by giving it away. (More or less, 46k miles but 06 GT Premium will go for 15k IF lucky... ) Anyways... out of all those deals the 03 Cobra seems the best buy. It has the highest potential and best resale (clearly). The 2010... Not quite a 2011... If you like that style of design over the 05, then by all means I guess. The 05, even with the supercharger... probably not worth that price tag. I'd try getting the Cobra deal to come down some... Or others have suggested invest in a 2011.
