was your axle rusty before you painted it? On my 2011 these are not painted and just coated in a rust color.. How did you get this off or do you just paint over that?

Dude - Im PRAYING that's a reproduction of the Steve McQueen Bullitt movie poster sitting on the floor and not an original. The original movie posters of that flick are somewhat valuable and that looks in prime condition.

As for the setup - SUHWEET! Andy13186 asked about the axle paint and Im wondering the same thing too...

I run Eibach prokit springs,
No this is a replica bullitt poster i have in garage...(need to hang it up)

As for the diff well mine never had paint from factory either, car doesn't see snow or rain ever but diff had surface rust on it,

I removed everything bolted to the diff.
but left it in the car with only upper arm bolted to it,
I sanded down with 150 and 220 (pretty much took it to bare metal everywhere)
Masked the underneath of car and sprayed zinc based primer and 2 coats of tremclad (rustoleum) paint.

installed the relocs,(I wanted some paint under the relocs)welded them and took a wire brush to welds and resprayed tubes and brackets.

If you drive it hard enough to where the rear starts feeling a little nervous in the corners and thinks about getting loose, move your LCAs up to the top holes for your street duty. You may have to do a little clearancing. Drop them back down for day/nights at the dragstrip.
