Question 2007 Mustang GT Idle noise help

Hey I just traded my 2005 Rx8 6speed with 47k miles for a black on black 2007 mustang GT automatic with 82k miles at a Chevrolet dealership. The rx8 was starting to have mild cranking problems sometimes and I was afraid it might be low compression which may lead to needing a new rotary motor as many horror stories I've heard about them. So I thought I'd trade import for muscle. Only questionable issue is that I noticed when it's idle in drive or any lower gears it makes a rattling sound sometimes coming from somewhere under the middle part of the dash or maybe under the hood lower closer to the dash area. It does it when driving off slowy but no really at cruising speeds. The radio usually drowns it out too but does anyone know what this could be and if it hurts to drive until I can get it back to them next week? They are going to check it out along with why the check engine light is in which is problem the o2 sensor. The cars motors drives, sounds good and shifting it smooth too. It also has a non stock exhaust I'm not sure what but its louder than stock but not too loud, really solid rumble. Just wondering if I made the best decision going for the GT over my lower miles Rx8. Thanks

Did this ever get fixed on it? I know I had the dealer take care of it and it got rid of my slight rattle. Very similar... not noticeable at cruise only in "low" speed and never higher than 3rd. I had an '07 GT as well.

No I just got the car last night and noticed it but I informed the dealership so hopefully then can fix that quickly even though it's at a Chevrolet dealership where I bought the used car.. They'll be checking and fixing why the check engine light is on too, o2 sensor I believe. Was this a quick and cheap fix when you had it done? They shouldnt charge me though since I just got the car from them they need to take care of its initial problems. I was just worried about the rattle/vibration while in idle and low gears.

the check engine light was on when you bought the car? that would have been a redflag for me.

Cool

Ok I'm sure this tsb 08-3-4 is the problem and solution. I printed it out and will take it to the chevorlet dealership Wednesday when I take it back for them to put on a new o2 sensor. They should be able to just follow this tsb and the steps to fix it right up? I've already informed them of the sound/vibration and they agreed to fix it, I've had the car 2 days now with no other problems or complaints.. It's just so much different to get used to over the 2005 rx8 I'd been driving the past couple years. Feels more beastly
