Default Need some opinions..

I have recently sent off my faux cap to be custom painted and am currently waiting to receive it back. This picture below shows something my dad came up with so we could go to a show yesterday without it looking terrible.

Temporary fix this is on the car until i get the original faux cap back painted.

I also ordered the MMD panel from american muscle.
I need some opinions on if you guys think this would look good.
Paint it gloss black to match my wheels and have pearl gold ghost flames painted on the decklid panel? If not that what would you guys do to it? i am def not leaving it as it comes with the plastic look. That is the main reason we had the rear valance and rocker panels painted to match.

Kind of ****ty to leave all those ....'s at the top so no one can preview your question.

As for your question, I don't really like it. Rest of your car looks pretty good too.

I would have gotten the CDC panel but apparently it is discontinued so I got the MMD panel

The piece covering where the original faux cap normally would be is only temporary until I get my cap back.

I think it'd look pretty cool if they could fill that gap and just leave it blank.

Maybe something all black to go along with the rest of the car?

My plan was to get my faux cap custom painted and have the MMD decklid panel painted gloss black with the gold pearl flames painted onto the panel that way I could remove it all if i ever got tired of it but I am not sure how this would look on my car.

I don't think I'm picturing the flames right, because it doesn't sound like a very good idea. However, if you could get a quick photoshop or something with just a rough idea, it might help.

Let me post up in the chop shop section unless someone sees this thread wants to do it.

Good idea... whenever I hear flames on a car, I get worried.

It wouldn't be something that takes away from the overall look of the car just a simple ghost flame so the panel wouldn't be the same old gloss black.
