I have mine on backwards. I still think its closer to my head than my old 03 mustang GT's headrest..

this headrest is sooo annoying in the normal position, i hate it

Dang it, was about to run out to the parking lot and see if mine were adjustable in some way that I'd missed (I also have a headrest gripe - but being 6'5" I have to take what I can in a small world..)

I like mine. No problems at all.

$269 for headrests! That's ridiculous. I lean the seat back a bit and that works for me. Who the hell designed the damn things anyway?

I never have my head on the headrest. I sit up straight, except if I'm cruising cross country.

They should be called broken neck preventers

Vehicles don't have headrests. They have head restraints. They should be adjusted to be at or nearly at the back of your head (very little space between).

The purpose of head restraints in any vehicle is to keep your head from snapping back and injuring your neck and spine in the event you are impacted from behind. Their purpose is not to "rest" your head on, per se.

I love the ones in the 05-09. Half the time I use it as a rest since it comes forward.. and they are ****ing fantastic when you get slammed up the ***. My neck had never been so comfortable in a rear impact as it was in this car!
