Rear-end walks during burnout
#21
Hey all,
I was at the track a few weeks ago and the Mustang was doing something that it doesn't normally do.
When I would do a standing burn-out the rear-end kept walking out to the left. Most of the time it wasn't just a little bit, but the whole car would start to go sideways.
Any thoughts? Is this normal? If not, what might I be looking at for causes?
Thanks!

^^definitely recommended if you plan to drag race the car occasionally. It keeps you from baking the rear brakes and helps keep the car from sliding around during the burnout. Win-win.

Thanks for the input guys, I'll check everything out for next time.
As far as suspension goes, I have adjustable LCAs and Panhard rod. They have been set in length for about 4 years now. But I did have a gear replacement not that long ago, so maybe they changed the panhard length accidentally.
I don't think it is a driver weight issue, at 150 I'm probably not that fat especially at 6'2".
And if the wife finds out about the girlfriend I'm probably ****ed (and not in the good way)... :-P
