Default Opinions On HID's Please!

Hey guys, I was approved by my credit union, so Monday I shall have me a nice new Mustang! In my current vehicle I have 6K 55W HID's. They're almost not even blue at all and I don't like that but they are BRIGHT. I think they need a better hint of blue. So....I was thinking why not upgrade to 8K HID's for the new car? I'm hoping to get a black mustang so I'm thinking 55W 8K's will look nice while providing a nice amount of lighting since I'm a delivery guy by night and need to see mailboxes. If I don't get a black mustang I'll get a bright RED one. You think these 8K's will still look nice? Let me know guys! I want 55W btw because they're brighter apparently and that's what I want I want to order them now so I don't go too long without HIDs when I get the car and have to wait for the lights to ship. Opinions please!

Thanks in advance.

P.S. THESE are what I'm looking at now. http://bit.ly/yPrBqO

OR! Should I save for THESE?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVQ0YtD4qiI

Yea, I'm not a fan of anything over 6k. You want a light that'll light up the night like it's mid-day, and a bluish light ain't going to do that and you may just find that people will bright you thinking you're 55w 8k are actually you leaving your brights on. What's wrong with a nice, clean white light? I think those look the best imo. When I eventually go hid's (as my stock lights are about as effective as a flimsy umbrella is a schit storm), ill be purchasing 35w 5000k or 4300k lights. Effective and classy; looks factory. And more importantly, it doesn't blind oncoming drivers if adjusted correctly!

I used to have an old '81 F150 with aircraft landing lights mounted on the front brush guard. Guys who wouldnt turn their brights down...lets just say I could see the pores on their face from a quarter of a mile away. Thats the only thing I miss about that POS pickup.

What ever you do, get the HID housings to go with those HID bulbs
or the oncoming vehicle blinding will be the result of HID bulbs
in housings designed for Halogen filiment bulbs.

Yeah I think you guys are right, I don't get flashed hardly AT ALL right now with the 6Ks. I do like the white light I was just thinking blue for the looks. Thanks Baker for recommending those. I'll check them out. What about those halo projectors lights? I feel like those are the GT500 replica? Not entirely sure.
