Will my tires swap over to new shelby wheels?

I literally bought new tires 6 weeks ago, so don't want to waste my investment there.

Current tires are 235 50 18 mounted on 18" fanblade style from my 06 to my 10.

http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...10-GT500-Wheel this is 2010 GT500 Style Wheel, 18X9.5. LRS lists the tire size as 255 45 18. Im waiting to hear back from the TireRack folks if they will work too...

Will my tires from my current wheels work on these or do I have to buy new?

I got 18 by 9 gt500 rims and my 235/50's fit on them but the 9.5's I dont think will. Too skinny.

I ran my original 235-18's for almost 10,000 miles on the 9.5 in. GT500 wheels with no problems. It may not be recommended, but on a street driven car I see no downside until you can get proper tires. They will be overtaxed for rear traction with your setup.

Literally 9.5" equals about 241mm, and the 235 tires is 235mm wide. So you are putting a 235mm wide tire on a 241mm wide wheel. It's recommended to get minimum 245 size tires for 9.5" to be safe.
It should be fine if you don't drive crazy on the road with the 235 tires. lil vibration should be acceptable..

I f'in love the cat video Rain...thanks for the laugh!
With that HP you are rollin with, I wouldn't recommend you try the 235's bro. And why would you want to put a tire on that beast you will have to baby? F that...pony up for some new bologna's and keep the 235's for a backup set.

The rim width range for your 235/50-18's is 6.5" to 8.5". No, you cannot SAFELY run those on your 9.5" wheels.

Well then I'd better plan on new tires cuz I drive like a bat out of hell.

do yourself a favor and get new tires. not only is it somewhat unsafe to run stretched tires, but damn, they look terrible too. you might as well get some wider meat on the wheels if you have the width to support it!

I'm running 9.5" wheels and have 275's all around. But when she's ready for new rubber, I'm going 255's front and 285's rear. Those 275's up front simply tramline like a mutha.
