Default Food Chain: Where are we?

So today I am behind a Dodge Viper and the dude sees me in his rearview at a light. He takes of like a crazy person and I oblidge (its a quickest to the spped limit kind of thing)... anyway, hes trying like hell to lose me and i am up his butt the entire time till I have to turn and he goes straight...

So I am left wondering, what cars can smoke me and which ones cant. But, sadly, I don't know the answer.. so I turn to you guys,

I have an 07 Roush Mustang GT Vert with a VMP 500 HP kit (smaller pulleys, tuned CAI, etc..) putting down just over 400 at the wheel and well over 400 torque.. Was that guy a bad driver or no? What kind of cars can expect to hammer and what cars are going to beat my ***?

Just curious.... and, I want to know from a stop, not a roll.

id expect a viper to have no prob with you - unless hes a bad driver / has traction issues.

i guess what i am after here is to exclude the exotics and stick to real American muscle cars... camaro, vette, mustang, chalenger, viper, ponticas, chrystler, etc..

I've spanked GT-Rs and been smoked by civics. You never know what's under the hood of the car next to you. I like to think that I swim with sharks.

I thought my GT was fast when I first got it. Then I hung out with the Mustang crowd and all my dreams were crushed.

You never know what the other guy is running...especially if he wants to challenge you.

lolz.

Well, I think he's looking to bench race.. Ok go to a website that posts 0-60 times they post 1/4 times too. And if all you are looking to do is numbers. There you go, now as for the viper, if it was the first gen and all things being equal you would beat him in a straight line
