Default A/C coming out the defrost vents

As the title says, I'm sure it's one of the actuator motors just not sure which one since there are 4 four of them. Does any one know which one of the four it would be?https://mustangforums.com/forum/atta...1&d=1530828646

You might want to check the vacuum line going to the blend door actuator. The actuator itself may be OK but it won't work if the vacuum line is cracked or broken.
Finding it and fixing it will be a royal PITA so start compiling a list of swear words in advance.

Oh yea. If it's the same as my old SHO, the dash needs to be pulled back. After that swear laden 4 hours then replacing the motors can be a royal battle due to tight space.

These motors don't work on vacuum, they're electric, that was on the older models, pre 2005. I'm gonna try removing the motor that's behind the radio and just move the arm to open the vent then just tape it in place. Here in Phoenix, we don't use the defrost vents that much. Then later I'll get a new motor. So if any one knows that it's a different motor, let me know. Thanks.

If it's coming out of the defrost vents regardless of the vent setting you've selected it's going to be the actuator that is on the passenger side of the center stack, just to the left of the glove box. The one near the ground is the temp blender.

Here's all the info you need.
