I just bought a blue oval industries chrome billet grille for my 2012 V6. I also got a tri-bar emblem from American muscle and the 2 don't fit. Should I grind off the pins on the back of the emblem and tape it on? I got some mounting tape from home depot that says it holds 5 lbs cause they had no 3m tape. Any advice appreciated.

Theres supposed to be a large washer and a nut so you can screw it on...

there is but it still wont fit the grill the threading is too short so when the nut is bolted all the way there's still a 1/8 gap between the washer and the grille so its not putting any pressure to keep the emblem in place so it slides around....
