I will make note to the fact that he was trying to sell everything as a whole, the techco supercharger and the motor, he wanted 4500 for it all.

Have you read the threads about swapping in a v8? Its a whole lot of work and you will never recover the costs when you sell the car. If ever in an accident remember your car is classified as a v6. Not good. I would rethink the plan........just my opinion though.

That's why I have to really think about this, if the motor is ok, I may not find another deal like that.

Maybe a dumb question but is it anywhere near where you could inspect it in person

Nope, I wish it was or I would either have it by now or wouldn't. He said he will get a video of it running for me. He doesn't come off as the type who would take advantage

This was the message I received about why he is getting rid of it. The motor it self really isn't that bad,as heavy goes. two people can lift it. The car was used as a weekend/nice day car. It wasn't raced at all. I never pulled any compression numbers as there has never been any reason to, as it runs excellent. The real only reason for pulling everything id because I have a business opportunity to start making turbo kits for ls swaps into mustangs with another friend of mine that builds and races ls motors. That is the only reason I would pull the motor and blower after just installing the blower on the car. It runs better than ever.

...buy it...it's a '05 like yours, no wiring compatibility issues.
The swap is 'work', but ask anyone's who has done it. Worth it? Everyone has said YES! ..including me...
