Clean Slate and ready to Mod, but want to do it smart

There are so many resources you can use to get started, you might consider the search function with individual questions that way people don't get upset when you ask a question that has been asked multiple times.
With that said, congrats on the new purchase, and get ready to get addicted to buying parts lol. I would say start with an intake and tuner, then progress to long tube headers and a full exhaust. If you want your car to look 1000x better, lower it, get new rims, and tint your windows...those are the basic ways to make your car better

blower is out of the question now.. same with turbo and Nitrous.
Reason being, if you put all that glitz on a stock motor, you'll just tear parts up down the road. I'm going to spend some time upgrading the parts around the motor, and inside it, before i try to cram a beachball through a coffee straw.

If you have a 5.0 I believe you can safely put down ~550whp on stock internals

I put the intake on then tried driving to my local tune shop. Props to these fellas.

What can I expect from these bolt on's?

JBA Axel Backs...
Ive heard that the stock exhaust is good to go, assuming you replace mufflers and Cats. Whats the perspective from the vets?

Well, this has been annoying.
I got an SCT X3 tuner, and none of the preloaded tunes would work on my car. It wouldnt start so i had to flash back to stock.
I ordered one from Brenspeed, but they havent sent anything or asked anything about the car.
So I have this awesome check engine light STILL ON.

Not to hijack.. Is there ever any colorado meets? Where's a good place to get some baseline dyno's? I have a bunch of parts I want to put on but would like to get a baseline for my car and my F150.
OP... I haven't seen this question asked yet. What do you want to do with the car? That should guide you more then anything.
