Default Anyone else turn their headrest around?

So I couldn't stand having the headrest where it was on my 2012. I turned it around and the seat was much more comfortable, however, it feels really insecure now...like NO protection in a rear end collision.

Anybody else feel this way?

I have found that if I raise the headrest to its maximum and put a slight backward angle to the seat back, the headrest is not so intrusive. 3 years and I can easily live with it facing the proper direction.

BTW, love the color of your 'Stang!

You talking 2011/Early 2012 Headreast or Later 2012 Headrest. I personally haven't had an issue with either style.

Aren't the 2012 headrests adjustable by pulling them forward? I tried on a car at the local dealer and they click 3-4 times as you pull them forward then release and go all the way back to vertical.

Mine were not, that's why I got the TMI headrests, they are adjustable by clicking them forward.

I don't think I've ever put my head on the headrest to be honest.
