Btw, i don't believe the 2005 came with side air bags. The fact that your RCM doesn't show one could be related to that. Could the original owner have replaced the original seats with take offs from a later model mustang that had side airbags?
I could be wrong, but I KNOW my 2005 GT premium did NOT have side airbags...

So that means whoever had it before him must of put another set of seats in. Unfortunately, some that were equipt. with air bags. Thus explaining why his car didn't recognize the side air bags.
