I had my transmission fluid flushed today and replaced & it did not solve the issue. I am leaning towards a bad solenoid from what I have read

Default Same Tranny Issue

A few weeks ago I started having the same problem. In 2nd/3rd I was getting a lot of RPMS but very little movement. Took it to a repair shop for a tranny flush, and they checked it out and said it needed a solenoid valve replaced in the tranny (along w/a flush). But the flush itself would not correct the issue. My gf wanted to check around a few different places, but (based on what I've read w/people having the same issue) I honestly believe this will solve the problem and they've been fair. Knocked the price down a little and stored the car there (w/o charging additional storage, and it's been there for a few weeks. Lol) as they didn't want us to drive it back home only for it to have further tranny or clutch issues . It'll be an unexpected $550 bill, but I'm glad they didn't try and say it needed to have the tranny rebuilt (like some places do). Hope this helps!
