I just got offered 20-21k from a few dealerships. That is a great price for a 6 year old car. This decision is getting harder everyday.

That's really nice... how many miles? Mine was $14k end of last year (with the blower, rims, hood, shifter)

Is the 5.0 that much better? It seems like it gets sorta "stuck" after bolt ons and a tune also right? Granted you'll be at like 420-430whp....

trade in value is not increased with mods. if you ever trade in your car, please do yourself a favor, and put it back to stock and sell the mods separately. you will get way more money out of it that way.

But then again, it depends on what you're looking for in a car. You're not satisfied with the power that the saleen S/C gave? Is it the looks of the newer models - both exterior and interior? Assess all of those before trading.. but then again if the dealership said they'll give you 21k.. take it and run with the new 5.0

I too was in awe by the rebirth of the 5.0 and was quickly up to a dealership ready to trade my Shelby in for one. One test drive is all it took to convince me that would be a horrible idea! The stance, handeling and overall look are much better on the 2007...plus remember no matter how fast you make it you will want it faster!! Be happy with your car that you have made your own style (which looks awesome by the way) and put the money into higher performance upgrades. Just my two cents
