I've decided to just keep my car. I just received my Saleen Supercharger back from 281 Motorsports and I'll have it installed next Monday or the week after that. 420+ RWHP should keep me happy for the next few months

No 5.0 bug yet for me........

Now the 2013 GT500, that is staring to enter my nightly slumber I'm afraid....Erik
What suspension/chassis upgrades did you do?

Thor, I originally went with the Saleen basic suspension when I had the SC installed at their Orang county CA plant. Then I added on Steeda billet LCA's, Adj STB, G-trac bar, shock tower brace, Steeda triangulated chassis braces in rear, front LCA relocation kit, X-5 ball joints bumpsteer, and the front sway bar braces. This was all over a years period back in 06'

Then I had the Techco watts link put in when I was here in Michigan, plus now I have the Tokico Adjustable dampers now and H&R swaybars. The car is great at cornering and had good traction with the watts in rear.

I stil plan on loosing more front weight, but my car just got T-boned two days ago(it's all on the other drivers insurance/their fault), and is in the bodyshop. So we'll see. Fairly low speed impact, waiting to hear about frame and chassis inspection. Erik

Thor - I totally agree with your decision to keep your car. Seriously you've got a lot of time and coin in it. You'll never recover your entire investment. Sure, it sounds like a good trade. When I traded my 06 in, it had CAI, stripes, lowered rear end, gears and a couple of minor appearance mods. Trade blue book was 12k and they gave me 16k. So while folks insist mods don't help trade value, well I will agree to disagree with them.

But you've got your ride looking sexy as hell and now you've got FI...to me it's a no brainer. Keep this ride. I regretted trading my 06 in for the 10GT for many months and was back at the dealer looking to trade again when my wife said "Figure it out, fix it and then be done with it cuz I'm tired of this." Instead I decided to FI my 10 and now I've never looked back.

I think had I supercharged my 06 back then, I'd still be driving it. Have faith...you're going to fall in love with your car all over again once you get that air pumping

And just one more time...your car is so god*$^#&* sweet lookin... I think doing some interior mods would make that off the chain.

I have to say with the suspension and chassis upgrades on my 06' as well as bumpsteer, after driving numerous 2011's for test drives, I don't feel that the steering is any more precise than my car. To be fair though, I no longer remember what my car felt like stock and I really like how much I can feel the road with bump steer and the ability to put the car right where I want with no power steering assist wobble or numbness is nice.
