that's kind of cool. Wonder what the "other" numbers are? I know mine seemed rare. Only has two options. Brembo's and 3:73's.

Sorry, Ford can't break it down that far ,for specific models, like the Brembo, according to them.

Come read about the Brembo Mustang at our website under (FAQ section). It's much more than just the brakes. Brembo50.com

Ford releases package production numbers etc every year. You can stipulate approximately how many were made in each color once those stats come out, assuming a normal distribution of upgrades to colors.

I know I found a breakdown of 2011 production details last year but don't remember where. There's an impressive amount of data out there though!

This makes me almost afraid to go buy Koni sport dampers like I was thinking about. Is our Brembo handling package really as "perfected" as they make it seem?

S197 650, If you're going to spend the money on brake and suspension upgrades for a standard GT, obviously the Brembo 14" Disk, 4 piston front brake kit is a great deal from many vendors, about half the price as the Stop-Tech upgraded larger 14" disk(which weighs the same as the stock rotor 19.2 lbs, Brembo disk is 26lbs and basic Stop Tech disk is 26lbs as well).

Otherwise you're going to spend your money twice as you enjoy superior suspension performance. You'll want more options like I did, and re-buy.

So right out of the gate buy the Steeda Comp springs, Koni Adjustable Sports dampers and an adjustable front sway bar and an adjustable rear sway bar. The adjustability with the dampers and sway bars will allow a performance shop to actually drive your car hard and adjust your dampers and sways to maximize handling, but still drive comfortably.
