5.0 rebuild pic heavy
I woukd like to introduce myself, Im Justin from east Texas.
I bought a 2011 5.0 brand new last july, I added a Jlt, offroad h, axlebacks, and cammed tune from evolution performance. Then my #8 popped.
So I rebuilt it and added a few things.
i now run same mods on the sct canned tune and have ran a 7.86 witj a 1.89 60ft in the 1/8

I used eagle H beam rods with arp 2000 bolts
I had the pistons made by a company owned by the same guy who founded JE, they are stock replicas .010 over forged/coated and the ringland moved down
I spent around $3000 and that includes full arp hardware.
You could swap rods/pistons/bearings for $1500

I cant blame evolution because i cant prove it was the tune.
I can't blame ford because I cant prove it wasn't.
Sometimes you just gotta grit your teeth and move on.
I spent my money going forged instead if a lawyer which would have resulted in a stock block again.
