I was just thinking with all this summer like weather, where the heck are the 2013 GT500 test from privileged publishing based drivers who get first dibbs??? Why isn't this car being ran ragged yet?? Just wondering, Erik

[QUOTE=BlackGT45th;7899967]I had heard the 50th anniversary was supposed to be the redesign as well but 2015 would be 51 years.[/QUOTE

Although many people refer to the 1965 early-production units as the Ford Mustang 1964 1/2, the first official model year of the Mustang was 1965, not 1964. So in 2015, the Mustang will be 50

I wish they hadn't put anniversary badges on incorrect years then.

While I see your point, TECHNICALLY the vehicles were released to the public during the 1964 fiscal year making the anniversary 2014. This is why "Anniversary Stangs" are released on -4' and -9'.

Also, didn't everyone noticed that they usually change the styling the year AFTER the anniversary. Look back through the years and you'll see. It makes sense, why use two big sales pitches in the same year. That only hurts sales. Offer an anniversary edition one year and then release the new platform the next. It makes "business sense".

I should mention I wasn't trying to come off as a smartass. I was being serious in that I wish they would stick to what they already began doing which was ann. edition cars on 4s and 9s.
