Default which gears 410s or 373s

i have an 07 gt mustang fuel mileage is an issue but on the other hand it doesn't get driven a lot eg; 12,000 miles in 5 years but still i have to get sensor to intercede to fix the differentiation in the miles per hour.best bang for the buck in racing trim, 73s or 10s. Retiring soon so i still want my cake and eat it too. thanks

I usually don't recommend 4.10s but if you are driving less than 3,000 miles a year, then I say go for it!

For a daily driver that sees some highway miles, I would suggest 3.73s.

You guys don't feel 4.10s are too much for highway driving (70-80mph). What kind of RPM are you running at 75mph in 5th?

Even for the freeway, 4.10's are just fine. I think my 08 GT was turning over like 2300 rpms at 70 or so. I can't remember but it wasn't an issue. Still got about the same MPG. It's so much easier to get up to speed and makes the car feel "lighter."

Best. Mod. Ever.

410s all day... Don't fear the gear, also remember you are doing this for performance.
