I do not blur mines because they are exposed in the real world too. Plus, I think I'm safe with German plates and the majority of the members in this forum live in the States. So I'm safe, I guess ;0)

You can't blur out yourself walking down the street either, but many don't put up a personal picture for forums, limit social site browsing and/or pictures to friends, and even in some cases choose not to put up pictures at all online.

It does limit an exponentially larger audience from what you would come across in daily life.
