I do not blur mines because they are exposed in the real world too. Plus, I think I'm safe with German plates and the majority of the members in this forum live in the States. So I'm safe, I guess ;0)

My stance on this is simply put...WHY ADVERTISE?
To the right person it is...see "friend did him a favor".
Valid point, and it really doesn't make a difference until you **** off some DB...see "friend did him a favor (again)"
Hater's are gonna hate...again, why advertise to the masses?
To avoid this kinda crap is why I blur it!

I was friends with a guy that had some sort of argument with someone over the internet. The guy used my friend's license plate number (found on some pics) and had a "friend" do him a "favor" - long story short, he got my friend's address and messed up his car pretty bad. I've been blurring out my plates ever since.

It does limit an exponentially larger audience from what you would come across in daily life.
