2013 worth the trade?

Don't do save your money or get a used gt500 for the same price of a new one I went to the dealer to look at their first 2013 gt nothing to brag about but their asking 31,000 for a gt with no leather and a six speed so your basic gt is around there I rather buy a used mustang with shelby's name on it or just keep working on your car I paid a little over 30,000 back in 07 for my gt withe the premium package and a auto trans and now 31,000 for a basic gt with just a new motor they can keepit! I drove one back in 2011 when they first came out it felt like my car stock, when the sales person said feel that power when I hit I told him that this 5.0 should feel like my car with all the stuff I did not like a stock 4.6! point of my ramblings keep yours and keep working on it or go get a shelby!

Yeah if i was going to do anything, it wouldnt be for awhile, I think I'll just enjoy my 06 for a little while. Cant really put 35k toward my weekend driver. The only way I'd do it is if I made it my daily driver which I have no problem spending that much for. or I'd take the Gt500 at my dealer for 57k. Haha but maybe I'll check out the end of the year deals on a GT.

So I have a 2006 gt vert and so far, I love it. Last year while at American Muscle car show, we sat in a 2011 GT. When compared to my car, it is much more comfortable and i like the interior design better. And the 5.0 is just begging to be driven. So here's my question: Would it be worth is to trade up from my car? I mean my car is all paid off and it has a Cai,Tb,Bama 93 tune, eibach springs, and some other underhood dress-ups. How much faster would it be? And is the interior really all it seems? I know there are some manual tranny problems, but what if I got an auto? I just want your guy's input.
Thanks in advance

I say trade it in for a 2012 model if you wish. You might save a few bucks as the dealers start getting in the new 2013 and pushing the '12's out. The 5.0 Coyote blows away the 4.6L, I think either way you'll be very happy you did it.

Sure, the 5.0 would be nice, but I don't take my car to the drag strip or auto-x it. It is a fast, fun, and reliable daily driver. I am satisfied with my 4.5-4.6 0-60 WOT runs with the mods I have done to it.
If you desire more power, look at Brenspeed for a supercharger package. I think they have 0% financing for 1 year on big purchases, so you could split up the bill by 12 and have a car payment-like payment for one year and a faster car.

I just traded in my 2010 GT for a 2012 GT. It is a night and day difference performance wise. The incentives to move the 2012's are so good right now I could not pass up the deal I got. I was prepared to order a 2013 but am glad I went with the 2012. In the end, I got a 2012 Premium Brembo for a little less than I could have gotten a 2013 Base.
