Default New Headlights Intsall

So i have purchased the Raxiom Smoked Projector Headlights - CCFL Halo Head lights. They are supposed to be at my house tomorrow and when i install them i want them to have the halo on at all times.

I talked to a tech guy at CarID.com and they didnt really tell me anything useful, so i was wondering if anyone could help me on here....

My question is: Can i hook up the halo ring lights to run during the day with out the actual headlight on? And do i have to hook them up to my parking lights and remember to turn them on and off all the time? I live in texas and my car did not come with DRLs so would that be an option to install DRLs?

I kind of want the BMW halo look, which is just the halo on during the day then have the halo and headlight on at the same time at night

Here are the lights i purchased: http://www.americanmuscle.com/headli...proj-2010.html

Erm.. I wish I had an answer for you. Have you called or emailed the American Muscle staff? Most of the time they have some useful info on what to expect from a part.

I suppose that would work. Hopefully someone who has done it will chime in with some usable info for you.

I had mine wired to the parking lights. If you had DRLs wouldn't your actual headlight be on too? (which is not what you want)

Didn't think it was that hard to "remember" to turn your lights off.

Im new to wiring lights so i have no idea if this is possibly, but could you wire the DRL to the LED and Halo in side the housing?

Too lazy to turn off lights, but not lazy in that you want to wire more **** up. Lol.

I don't know exactly how DRLs work or if you can pick what you want to come on (other than the main beam).

Also, hope you have HIDS cuz the output on those is not great.

I get all my lighting stuff there. I believe you'll need H9 bulbs.

They work and won't burn up the housings (I had 35w). AM probably has that notice to cover their butt in case someone fries their lights and wants a warranty replacement.
