I have my eyes fixed on the Saleen SC. Saleen has a specific computer flash for their unit. My car is tuned for my mods with the X-Cal 2. My concern is will the Saleen flash overide my X-Cal tune and, if so, what steps will I need to make to make sure my car is tuned to "all" my mods?

Unless you have stuff that you don't have in your signature file the only thing I see at all that might be of issue is the 4.10s. And most likely you can tell Saleen about the gear change and they will adjust your flash. Not that it matters much becauase I doubt you will drive it long before you have a dyno shop do custom tuning to it. I know of several folks with Saleens, and none of them run the tune that Saleen provided.

Thanks for your response, and you are abosolultey right. The supercharger is probably the last performance mod I plan to do for a while to consentrate on cosmtetic mods and, as a result, it will get a dyno tune. It's kind of interesting what you said about the guys you kwow that ignored the saleen tune. Have you heard about their feed back or anyone else for that matter? Thanks.

When you order your Saleen S/C see if they can reprogram your X-cal2. I had to mail my X-cal2 to the shop that I ordered the S/C from but they were able to reprogram it to handle all the mods that I have.
