You know people will ,they always have. What makes 2013 any different? A better question would be do you think its acceptable to make a stock Mustang look like a Shelby? you will get a lot more responses.

There is a difference between making it look like a shelby, and another thing to actually call it a shelby with badges and all. I really like the look of the 07 gt500 and at some point I want to change the front fascia of my 06 gt to look like one, I think it has a more aggressive look, but I wouldn't put the shelby snake badges on it or the Shelby on the deck lid. I would keep the gt emblems, or just debadge it.

FWIW, the fact that the 2013s have a front end similar to the 2010-2012 Shelbys is why we're planning to pick one up! Although we can pick up a 2012 or 2013 Shelby we'd almost never, ever put the 550-650 horses to good use (probably won't even put 420 horses to good use!). Also, we don't want to 'look' like a Shelby to fool anyone....we really just prefer the looks of the Shelby front-end. In fact, Ford has probably heard and feels the same hence the reason the 2013s have the Shelby-like front end!
