Hmmm, driven cross country twice in the Bullitt, 800 miles on some days and they feel just fine to this 70 year old and my 65 year old wife.

I DO take my wallet out of my rear pocket.....if I don't I know it in about and hour or so.

My Infiniti G35X is no more comfortable.

Maybe, it's not the seat... perhaps your spine/hips need adjustment.
Have you been to a chiropractor?
Before spending hundreds of $$$ on new seats, go get a chiropractic adjustment for $20-45.

It's tragic how much people will spend on maintaing their car, while neglecting their personal health.

If it were that, then I would think I'd have trouble sitting in any car.

In my truck (Dodge Ram) and my wife's car (Hyundai), the seats feel like pillows. But in the Mustang, it feels like I'm sitting on plywood.

But this is the first "sports" car I've had, so maybe I'm not used to the seats being so firm. Maybe I should get them reupholstered or buy a seat cushion.

You could try the 2013 seats.. baker says they are more comfy.... other than that, I can tell you from experieince that, with a little iron, a welder, and some nuts and bolts, any seat can fit in any car. OK, almost any.. don't go crazy trying to get a bench seat or anything.

I would say invest a little time and money and time into customizing your seats. Either getting new ones or fixing the ones you got up.

I drive my truck around and its much more comfortable, and my mom impala both have much better seats.

As far as the mustang goes, its a sports car so I happily accept the ride and the seats in this generation go, they are much much much better than pervious gens, the SN95 and Edges that some of my friends have are some rough riders

If you got leathers, I would be interested.

I seriously thinking about trying to get some leather 2013 seats. They should bolt right in shouldnt they

Once I installed some new takeoff 2011 leather on to my crappy cloth seats, they became comfortable to me. Lumber completely pumped up too. Do they compare to my viper truck seats? Hell no, not even close but they are acceptable.
