You obviously don't have the hang of haggling yet. If you haven't been asked to leave at least one dealership, you're not being enough of an azzhole.... I mean, "negotiator".

'12's are going for mid to upper $20k's.

Those prices are ***. Sticker was $23k on my base V6, walked out after TTL under $20k.

I certainly hope the OP isn't talking sticker price...

Check out Autotrader and your local Craigslist for potential good deals too!

look up invoice cost and start negotiating with local dealers. I had to go through three before I found one willing to price low enough.

Find a large dealer, look at their inventory on-line, find a Mustang that interests you, and then request a quote via email. Internet sales usually operate by a different profit margin and often will quote you the vehicle at or slightly below invoice (although a 2013 will probably be slightly over invoice).

Do NOT walk onto the dealership lot and speak to a regular sales guy. You will get raped.

Also, www.edmunds.com has good cost info. Again, you can likely pay invoice for a vehicle. Just be careful about add-on charges like "processing fees" (which can often be 300-1000 bucks <--- fight this).

I had to scratch my head at my internet (Ebay) purchase... I call the place up and dudes like.. yeah its listed at 32k.. I said, ok I will take it. Then he says.... on the lot we got it listed for $30,500. So again I said.. I'll take it.. with a sounds good to me thrown in.

I almost walked off the lot this week with a 12' GT premium for 29k out the door. Deals are out there. You just have to shop around.
