Default Cleaning the k&n help

So I washed my filter last night and figured it would be dry by today so took it outside and took my air compressor just to make sure it was fully dry and it's not. It still has moisture when I blow through it. So my question is is it suppose to still have some moisture or is it suppose to be completely dry before I oil it?

I've never gone as far to blow a compressor to it. I was mine with the K&N recharge kit and let it sit out over night. It is dry to the touch inside and out the next day. I then oil it and haven't had any issues... You may know this but don't go crazy with the oil.

Ya I have been told by numerous people careful with the oil so thanks lol. Maybe I will let it sit in the sun for a couple hours just to be safe

I always give mine 12-24 hours (usually 24 most times) to dry depending on the sunlight and airflow. Blowing it with an air compressor is not the best thing to do. The media is rather thin and it could be damaged. Most filter manufacturers specifally state not to use compressed air.
