I am actually pissed at ford for once, never thought i would have to say that but i am.
Charging people for a product they want to buy is your definition of robbery? Welcome to capitalism. I suggest you move to a nice Eastern European Country. You might find it more to your liking.

This economic phenomenon is referred to as "supply & demand"

Agreed.

That just means that this time next year the 2013 left overs will probably have $5000+ in rebates, just like the left over '12s currently have $4000+ in rebates. Scary to think what the new 2015 will cost. They are pricing average income people like me out of the market.

Exactly. Plus if you wait a bit, I'm sure a few recalls/TSB will rear their ugly heads.

I have the answer to this question so I will settle it. I just ordered my 2013 mustang gt premium a couple days ago. The website is wrong. When he put everything in for the order on the computer it was about a 1,000 dollars cheaper on his computer order form straight from Ford. We kept comparing everything making sure he put in all the options I wanted. We finally came to the conclusion that the website shows it is more money than it is. If you go order one its still the same price. And no, the track pack is not standard.

I personally wouldn't loose sleep seeing as there might be more contributing to the cost increase such as the rise in raw materials, etc. that we aren't aware of.

Bottom line is that Ford can sell them for whatever they want. You can choose to buy or not buy. No inquisition necessary.

My simple logic.
Gas prices go up, everything goes up.
I'm surprised people didn't expect it.
