As another poster stated, KBB is usually way off, it will set you up for disappointment if you go into it expecting what KBB says your car is worth. Try NADA http://www.nadaguides.com/?gclid=CIn...FUljTAodhEQPKg. Also do a cars.com search of identical cars with similar miles within like a 500 mile radius. See what dealers are selling them for and average it and that's a good idea of retail value, then take about $2500-$3500 off that for average trade in. Private party values will usually be lower.

If you're trading, consider the tax savings... Trade allowance of 11K at 7% tax rate would save $770... So you'd have to retail it at 11,770 to be equivalent... If it's an 05, you'll get low balled so hard it will **** you off. I would say 10-11.5K trade MAX.

I wouldn't worry too much about it holding up through a lot of miles. These cars have their quirks but they are very reliable. There is a guy in town with an 05 GT that has driven his across the country a few times (retired) and racked up close to 140k miles as of last month when I last talked to him. He told me beyond basic maintenance (oil/fluids, wear items) he hasn't needed to do much. I don't know if he has ever had the firewall leak though, I forgot to ask.

Have definately thought of keeping it and really thought hard, In and out of the city can get tough as well with a standard tranny, stop & go, stop & go also have to worry about vandalism and parking garages, someone else may enjoy this car more as it is a gorgous car and great driver and is stressing me out being worried about it all the time.

100% agree on the miles. I sold my 99 with 167K RUN HARD and ran perfect. My 07 (18K-42K) ran perfect never had one issue. They seem to be built really good and with all the highway driving it will last as long as you take car of it properly.

My 4.0 is a 2006 with 201,500 miles on it. That is after two race seasons with a 75 shot of nitrous and then at 90,000 miles I pulled the nitrous and put the Xcharger on it. Basic maintenance for the most part - I had to replace the water pump at 150,000, did the front wheel bearings, ball joints and tie rods as preventative (weren't really giving any problems but had the chance to pick up the parts cheap) at 189,000 miles, and at 199,881 the thermostat housing gave way.

Still runs strong, and was in the 12's two weekends ago at the track still.
