Stop with the front of the bumper over the speed bump and see how much clearance you have. Also check if the thing that may hit first is a floppy piece of rubber or something that may actually break.

So far, I've found two solutions for a lowered car dealing with clearance issues, air ride and KW HLS (Hydraulic Lift System).

http://www.ridetech.com/store/muscle...hash=V308.V328

http://www.kw-suspension.com/us/kw_hls.php

I like Ridetech's system except for the tank and compressor using the space behind the fold down seats. I've folded my seats down several times for cargo space, kind of hate to lose that.

I think the KW HLS requires upgrading to KW Coilovers, I haven't confirmed this yet. Plus, my initial research found it to be quite expensive.

speed bumps + lowered car = suckage

Not only do you risk playing basketball with the underside of the car, you will have to slow down even more when you go over them to keep the car from bottoming out.

Those kits are pretty cool but $3K plus...wow.

is this even with mild lowering ilke 1 inch drop? I wouldnt expect to rub much at all, if any, with just a 1 inch or so drop.

On the 2010's+ especially, no a 1 inch won't make you rub anything except for parking curbs. These cars look like friggin monster trucks, i hate it. Springs for the 2010s+ usually lower more than 1 inch though so I would get that little alarm for the front of the car telling you when to stop while parking (AM has it. It's pretty cool). Or back in everywhere you go to park. You won't have any issues doing that.

OP, as for speed bumps, slow down A LOT and go at them at an angle. Just make sure the ***hole behind you is slowing down too...haha and pulling into places just go very very slow if you can see it drops a little, you most likely won't hit anything other than the rubber piece or whatever under the car.

I have to be careful just getting out of my driveway, lowering is not an option.

I'm dropped as low as can go. Speed bumps here are usually fine, but when I head North, there are places with speed bumps that are literally 1ft tall.

I'm lowered on sportlines, 1.5" front 2" rear - I have to go at angles on a lot of speed bumps and I have to take it slow, but I have zero issues getting around anywhere.

My car is on eibach pro kit springs and I haven't had any problems with speed bumps.
