This isn't only a problem with 05-09...my 2010 has it and so does a friends 2012. My dads 2006 mustang has had the hood repainted 5 times and it has come back each time....now the car is out of warranty and Ford won't pay to repaint it anymore. My 2010's hood has been painted once already and it is doing it again.

Fiberglass really? Yea right....if that is so how come my 2010 and my friends 12 have the same problem?

2010-2013 Stangs don't have fiberglass hoods.

Oooops... Guess my friend was wrong! He has his own body shop and told me I had a fiberglass hood. It does feel different from the 05-09hoods(lighter).

I would never take my car to your friends body shop if he told you mustangs have fiberglass hoods
