Default All waxed up and custom emblem

Just put a custom emblem on the car, and it is waxed up for the summer. Here's some pics:

and now a question. Are car washes okay? (the machine ones) there's one down the street that does a great job for 5 bucks. But i'm guessing the high speed bristles damage the paint?

Stay away from car washes that touch your car, they will scratch it to death requiring a machine buffing. Try not to drive it in the rain, spritz weekly, clay every 6 months or when gritty, wax regularly, grab a california duster. Remember to floss daily also.

If it's a new car wash, there should be no bristles. They should use cloth like chamios. I'd worry more about my wheels getting scratched. Our Mustangs have never been to an Automtic Wash. Only Coin Operated, where you control what goes against the paint. New Car washes are more gentle, but I still don't trust them.

I like the emblem especially the red ring around the key, nice extra little bit of detail.
Only machine wash I would ever use is a touchless.

Looks great! I went with a more retro look, but blacked out was definitely my second choice.

1. The new emblem looks good.

2. I would suggest touch-less or hand wash.

3. Cute dog.

Looks very slick!

I'd only suggest going to the totally touchless carwashes. I manage to get micro swirls when I carefully wash my own car, let alone going to a wash where very dirty cars have been through before me!
