10-11 Shelby GT500?
#15
truthfully a 2011 GT500 is enough power for me in stock form, i just would do exhaust for sound, tune to maximize the exhaust and CAI...
here is a list of my prior cars
01 lincoln ls
06 dodge charger rt (full bolt ons/cams,tune)
08 cobalt ss turbo (full bolt ons/tune 290/400tq)
11 Evo X GSR (full bolt ons/tune 340/360)
and my Evo was PLENTY power it is the interior that made me get rid of it... yea recaros are nice but they arent good for long rides... the GT500 interior is very nice and the power is there all ready.. I am sure changing the pulleys or tuning the stock S/C I would be very happy with it, I dont need a 10sec car... just something I am proud of, I am only 22 years old but I get tired of cars very very fast as you can see

'11 GT500, not the '10 due to the cast iron block.
With the '11 GT500, rip out the stock suspension and replace with aftermarket kit (Roush, etc.) to tighten up the handling. Should be around $3,000 all in. You've got a wicked beast after that.
Also, if you don't plan on blowing your drivetrain warranty by adding an aftermarket KB, Whipple, turbo setup, etc., get with the '11 GT500. Ford will warranty up to 7 years / 100,000 miles, I believe. 550 horsepower should be enough to keep anyone busy having fun for a while!
