Upgrading panhard bar, handling.. Questions
So soon I will be lowering my car (probably koni yellows and steeda sports). I will get gt500 strut mounts and the ebaich hardware, along with a panhard bar. Are there any specific panhard bars I should consider or anything I should know about installation, maintenance, adjustments, etc?
Thanks, you guys are a great help :-)

The stock PHB is a bit of a pain to get out. Pry bar comes in handy. I would be sure to adjust it to match the stock size after removal of the stock PHB. Reinstallation is simple. After that, string method will work to adjust the center. Take it for a spin and recheck. Simple as that. I have a BMR double adjustable that I would not recommend. I've heard the MM piece is quite noisy. BMR makes a quality piece but the one end of the double adjustable is not really adjustable, lol. A single adjustable unit like this would probably be great. Wouldn't hurt having poly bushings either (in terms of NVH). Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions.

That's pretty close to the setup I'm going to have in the next few weeks, so thanks for question and answer
Is the panhard bar support of any real use for a daily driver?

I'll cast my vote for the BMR adjustable PHB and Brace. It's worth the money to get the brace, the stock one is weak.since you'll be under there anyways, get the brace with it. I like BMR because it's easier to adjust the bar from the middle, unlike the Steeda, which are on either end of the bar, and look to be a complete pain to adjust because of the tight clearance where the adjustment needs to be made

No need for a pry bar if you first loosen the panhard brace fastener just above the panhard bar mount on the passenger side. The BMR bar is a good one; had mine on for several years now ... high quality and easy to adjust.
Here's a link to a write-up:

Don't raise the rear end too high when adjusting else the centering won't hold once the wheels are back on the ground. Like someone else said ... you can adjust the centering with the wheels on the ground.

I would recommend the Steeda HD Strut Mounts!!! No need for any other parts...works well! Taken a few bumps where I'm happy I had these!

I'm using this UPR adjustable panhard bar. Installation was a breeze, and it centered up the rear end nicely. On those springs, you'll end up installing the PHB around half an inch shorter than the factory PHB.
