+1 to that ^^ There are a ton of muffler choices. I like to just search youtube for various combinations. I have an O/R H pipe and Roush High Performance Mufflers and it doesn't sound like a truck. Skip to 0:50.

They were on the car when I bought it. With cats, they sound really good but not very loud. I believe the ones I have are these:

I am not 100% sure though because the shape of the muffler is not exactly the same.

I have o/r pro chamber with mac boom tubes and between sounding great it has a tone! There is somebody around here where i live who has a setup like yours so i know what your talking about its a bit loud! But like you said you wont know until you try different exhaust setups hopefully what you end up picking is a exhaust system you like!
