2015 Mustang?

The front looks God awful IMO, but the rear looks amazing. The front and side, back to the hips look like they are on the wrong car. From the hips back it looks like it could (and I use the term lightly) look like a Mustang.
Lighter with a 5.0, that thing will scream!

You're right about the tail lights. The lenses have even a PONY TAIL flair to them. That does speak Mustang at least. But, that front end needs that unique PONY look also. Mustang NEVER shared a front end with any other model. But, looks like it will now for the first time. I'm not keen with that.

In 2004 this:
Became this:
I personally see only small hints of the Giugiaro concept in the 05-09 models, mostly the roof line, the wheel arches and the back profile but quite a bit is different.
I like this version of the Evo's concept car, I just wish that it didn't have to have the same front end as a Fusion. I understand the desire to do better with wind resistance and all that but come on. Your halo performance car shouldn't look even remotely close to a 4 door passenger car especially not since the Mustang has always had a pretty distinct front end compared to other cars (bar the Mustang II generation :P). And I really wish magazines would STOP calling it the Mustang III as that is just setting it up for failure.

Nope. That horrible concept was built in 2006, long after the S197s were out and on the road. The concept for the 2005 mustang GT actually looked surprisingly similar to the production model. The only real difference I can remember is split round fog lights on the lower corners of the concept and no fogs in the grill. The problem right now is that Ford has not yet built a 2015 concept (or if they have, it's still under wraps), so magazines are photochopping concepts instead.
