sorry I have no input but I never knew Brembo made springs....interesting, do they only make rears?

I'm a member of brembo50 and Andy, the site administrator, helped design these springs for the 11-12 brembo cars with the premise of not losing any of the characteristics only found on brembo cars. He only makes a certain number of the spring sets in each run. He has a lot of the guys on the site running these springs and love them. It drops the rear just enough to get rid of the 4x4 look but doesn't change the driveshaft angle enough to require an alignment. I could be wrong on the alignment comment but I moght be able to copy and paste his description from the site into this thread later tonite when im not on my phone.

Andy has also helped design rear wheel spacers and just got a deal on designing a new faux gas cap with the brembo logo on it so our cars will be diff from the stock gt. Ford doesn't consider the 11-12 brembo gt's to be a special edition. But they should be since Ford only made 4600 for the 11 model yr and only 4200 of the 12 model yr. Ford makes 5600 shelby gt500's a yr. I'm bout to send off a request for my build sheet from Ford and it will tell me exactly how many 2012 race red with black cloth brembo cars were done that are exact matches to mine. Mine is a base 300A spec car with just brembo package and 3.73 gears as the only options.

To the op. If ur looking to just drop the rear on ur 08 I woild go with the roush rear springs. I believe to get thw 55D springs u have to have a brembo car.

I don't really understand the folks that are gung ho about claiming the brembo package is special. it's not like it's limited edition because that's all they put out there - it's limited because only a few thousand a year typically opt for the Brembo package (and dealer's don't typically add it to their inventory cars). if you want something limited edition and unique, adding the brembo package isn't really the way to do it. I guess it's about as special as the california special package - not limited, anyone can get it, but only a few thousand were ordered that way.

that being said, the suspension tweaks I found absolutely horrible for daily driving. had I not swapped out the springs/struts/shocks, I probably would have started to dislike my car. it was silly how much me and my passengers were getting bounced around. I am surprised more haven't complained about that.

mine is wonderful. Stiff when it"s needed and no one has complained on the stiffness when cruising, even my 3yrold.

I had 4 different people make a comment about the harshness of the ride in mine. pretty crazy. maybe there was something wrong with my suspension : P
