Default How to I find a good shop?

Hey guys, I have an 08 GT that I would like a few things professionally installed. Rear end gears, Torque converter and headers. All of these being pretty big installs I would like to have a shop do them for me. My question is.... how do I find one thats not going to hack anything up. My car is mint and I want to make sure it stays that way . I live in windsor ontario. The best shop I know of is probably brenspeed which is about 4hrs away. That seems quite far to drive for these installs as I would like to have them done one at a time so I can feel how they change the car.

Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks,
Kevin

local word of mouth is the most reliable way .. sometimes shops have ratings on things like yelp, but I find that rarely helpful in the automotive world.

Is there a local Mustang club you can check with? They would have good referrals.
Brenspeed has a little place where you can stay on-site, if you decide to take it there. If you drive 4 hours, make it worthwhile and maybe get a couple of the installs done in one visit.

We all have those times where we are like what the heck was I thinking. I would get them all done at once. I can see what your saying to fell the difference, but think when you got them all at once OMG it would be awsome
