stock p zero tires worn out after 16K miles

Thanks for all the great feedback! Seems like this may not be too unusual. The wear was pretty even across the tire. I will probably replace them very soon with one of the other tires recommended on this forum. btw - I live in South Florida.
Thanks again for the help - greatly appreciated.

As I understand the problem, the reason your tires have gone before their time is because of all the HOT! ladies on the beaches there and that hotness just permeates to the pavement causing the rubber to literally melt and be left on the road... No wonder you need to replace the tires... Of course this is based on the premise that you post plenty of pics of said hawt babes in bikinis, 2 piece of course.
Glad I could help,
Don

I got 14,000 out of mine. They were down right dangerous by the time I took them off. Only about a 1/16" left per the wear indicators. Seems to be normal for this tire. I hoped I would get 20k out of them but, no luck. I drove 80% conservative and 20% bonzai, fwiw. I replaced them with Nitto Invo's. I hope they last 20k or more.

Something doesn't sound right - I had the Pzero Nero on my car in the 17" size and was getting 50 - 60,000 on them (I have 202,300 on this car, and just recently put the Nitto Motivo on, a great tire by the way so far).
The Pzero's aren't a summer only tire as far as I know and 16K on them is really low.

Yeah, $1600ish for 10-15k miles... when mine are worn, I won't be replacing them with another set of P-Zeroes. They are great tires though. You have to try to spin them. That's pretty incredible to me, with 412 hp on tap.
