OEM color temp on 12 with HID's
#2
I always thought most OEM HID's were in the 4300k range... I was running 5000k HID's in my 2005 and they had just a smidge of blue to them... I'll likely go 4300k next time around myself.
As far as the ones in your ride, you could probably go with Superbright LED's and match pretty damn close for the fogs... There are several here who have HID's for their headlights and LEDs for the fogs and they match damn near perfect in the pics... Cutter has them and you could never tell they were different from his headlights.
Do you actually get a lot of fog where you live to need the actual light output or are you looking for aesthetics only?

BigD is correct...4300K is OEM. I'm running 5000K in my retros and there's plenty of light. Crystal white with a very very very small hint of blue.
LEDs can be tricky to match. Some are pure white, but others seem to have a greenish looking tint to them (compared side-by-side).
I lucked out cuz I think my LED fogs match pretty good:
They're 7.5W bulbs from DiodeDynamics. The don't put out much light compared to HIDs, but I got them for looks. DD also has HID kits

Not for the fog, more for the look to match...... Not sure if you remember, but my fogs lamps are tinted blue already. Thinking about getting them tinted black to match the rest of the car then matching HID's. I will get the boss 302 chin and put HID's in it as well.
