IMHO I would get the 08 GT, no question. Only 5 less hp and a lot more torque. Plus the V8 sounds about 1,345,852.1 times better... The 08 is also a better looking car (imo).

I'd get the '08, drop in an aluminator block with a whipple and laugh at all the slow 2013 V6's that I come across. (for less total money spent)

My '07 is almost paid off...then it'll be my turn to walk all over some 2011-present GTs. .

Get a 2011/12 GT. It won't cost any more than the loaded 13 V6. I would NOT spend the same money as the 13 V6 on a 2008 GT. That 2008 GT should go for around 15k.

..or just a bit more for a clean Cali Special, Bullitt or Shelby GT. And, any of those will hold value better in the long run, than the new V6.
If you get a '13 V6, you'll be saying.... "I could'a had a V8"...

If you're concerned about fuel economy, the difference from the 05-09 V6 (18/26 MPG) to the 11-12 GT (17/26 MPG) is negligible.

08 for 15K.....HA......maybe under private sales listing. Dealships are going to demand over 20K for premium models. More for Shelby GTs and California Specials.

wait... you mean 11/12 GT (17/26) which if your getting that your probably not driving it right lol, and (18/26) for the 05-09 v6. Still not really enough of a benefit to not get a GT, go v8!

I recently got an 08 gt/cs with 35,000 miles. cai/tune 20inch rims new tire,s lowered, tri ax, bassani x pipe and mufflers. Purchased it for $19,500. Save a ton of money and get an 08 gt
