Default I got a brand new 2013 Mustang last week

Overall I like the car.

But a definite disadvantage is the bumpy ride. The slightest bump in the road and I feel it.

Well bumpy ride is very much relative and depends greatly on your previous ride. My previous ride was a slammed ford ranger with 235/45/17 tires and it felt like I was riding on rock tires.

So what was your last ride.

your package has a pretty forgiving suspension setup - are you sure it's not just you getting used to the solid rear axle setup?

I had the same feeling when moving from a 98 Camri to a 2011 mustang ... You"ll get used to it and start enjoying it pretty soon

yeah, congrats on the new ride, but realistically, the suspension in your car is very soft...the only way to get it any softer is to buy a Caddy.

Went from a Taurus to a Mustang? Say no more. Even though stock suspension is relatively soft in mustangs for coupes, 4 doors typically have soft suspension as the typical sedan buyer isn't looking for cornering ability.

Congrats on the purchase! You'll get used to it, just give it time. However, I have to ask: if you don't like the suspension set up now, why did you buy it after going on test drives? Surely if you drove the car prior to purchasing you would have noticed the "rough ride".
