45th Anniversary Mustang badge

I have seen a mixed bag with the 45th Anniversary badge on 2009 V6 and GT's. Some have the normal Pony / GT emblem and some have the 45th Anniversary badge.

Can someone shed some light on this? I don't have a good understanding as to the mixed bag I have seen out there.

All 2009 GT and v6 models should have the 45th badge that I've seen.

All that I have seen have the 45th badge. I know mine does as well.

all 09 v6 and gt had that badge from the factory

Maybe I'm confusing 08's and 09's when I see them. Which could be, I am getting old... lol

Any V6 or GT that is not an 09 will have the normal badge for the respective car. The 09 model year was obviously the 45th anniversary of the Mustang, like the 04 was the 40th anniversary of the new edge body style. I didn't know the V6s had the 45th badge too though. I learn something new every day.
