Default PlastiDipped my rims!(pics)

I have an 08 premium, the stock rims were nice, but i wanted to go for a bull black/white look, here are some pics

Stock Rims:


Dipped




easy application, i only used 1 bottle and 1/4 of the of another one and painted a total of 6 rims with 4-5 coats each

Looks like it went on well and came out great. I'm diggin' the black and white - especially how you left your hood scoop white.

Didn't you say your car was yellow a month or two ago? Could be mistaken. It's midnight here so I'm not totally in right mind.

Oh, if I may suggest, take the center caps off a stock 2007 v6 and painting them white, then put them on in place of your current. I think it'd look awesome.

i dont remember ever saying that lol, yeah got the vinyls for a really good price and nobody else has them here so im completely in love, im also in love with the plastidip, works great

youtube it for details, you basically buy a can in home depot for 6 bucks, you need 2 cans for the 4 rims, you preferably, take it off, wash it thoroughly, dry it and then spray it couple of times to form layers.

It's an actual product called Plasti-Dip, I sell it at Lowes. Pretty good stuff for intended applications but I have never heard of somebody putting it on rims before XD

ive never heard of putting it on anything not related to cars like rims and badges

Ha, its the latest and greatest thing. Its really taking off.

Personally, I would rather save up and powder coat if I wanted to change the color of my rims, but whatever suits them.

i dipped them cause i wasnt really sure if i was gona like the end result, and besides it was just like 12 bucks, cant really beat it for the price
